Hosts: Marchantia polymorpha
This species was deleted from the British list by Yao & Spooner (1996) after re-examination of a single voucher specimen in Kew (Leg. W. G. Bramley, 1970). The collection was not associated with Marchantia polymorpha but rather “on heavy soil amongst mosses”. The true O. ithacaensis does not appear to have been recorded since then.
