Epibryon cryptosphaericum agg. but spores are larger, host different and ascomata have stubby hair primordia.

Ascomata on leaf nerves near apices.
Asci and spores. Spores (3-)4-5-septate with 1-2 longisepta in middle cells.
Ascospores and asci in IKI.
Hyphae pretty typical for the genus.
Some ascospores in IKI.
