Found with Gymnomitrion sp. on montane boulders. Ascomata are perithecioid, black, around 500 microns diam., glabrous. The ascospores are massive. Asci possible 1-2-spored at maturity. Below are micrographs from Austrian material, but I imagine this species is found with Gymnomitrion in GBI.
